Public schooling offers a variety of things to kids. It helps build community relationships for both parents and students. There are many sports programs that are offered to help fit something that children may join and stay fit. It also helps with being social in school. Some schools offer arts and crafts as a class or after school activity. They have teachers that are certified to teach and help meet their needs. They have large classes so it sometimes hard for a teacher to meet every students needs to the best.
This is very tough on the advanced learners and usually makes them bored. If children are not being challenged than it may lead them to drop out. There are things that children are exposed to that some families do not recognize or condone but that is a risk when having a child that is in public school. There are limited amount of supplies that are available per class so they may have to share. They also do not get the most up to date text books so they are learning old material. Public schools have more days off than those of home schooled.
